Departure

The O.C. is able to accept max 16 teams of four to six people in a gender equal formation.

The O.E. will provide:

. 8 Boats racing monotypes from 20 to 25 feet (type Dolphin 81).
. 5 Rubber boats for the international Umpires and Race Officer.
. 1 Race Committee boat.
all other equipment necessary for the support of the regatta.

The race area will be in front of Lakeside in Desenzano, in the front of the Sirmione Peninsula.

Accommodation

After the morning briefing, each team will receive a lunch packet; the dinner will be organised in the restaurant of the hosting Club (La Cambusa Restaurant) for all teams, Judges, Umpires, Technical delegates and FISU Family.

The morning breakfast will be served at the hotel.

Upon arrival, the sailors will be accommodated in rooms for 2 or 3 people.

All rooms have a balcony, private bathroom with shower and hair dryer, flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioning and internet connection.

Medical Services

The hospital of Desenzano del Garda is 1 km away, while the hospital of Brescia is 30 km far.

In case of need, the AREU 112 emergency service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service covers the entire region and is equipped with the most modern aids and rescue vehicles, including 5 helicopters that can cover the distance between Brescia and Desenzano in 5 minutes.

The sport physician of the CONI (Italian Olympic Committee) is in charge of carrying out anti-doping controls.

Fee

The total entry fee will be 80 Euros per person per night. This includes the boat charter fee, boat insurance, local transportation, accommodation, and food. More details regarding the fees can be found in the Officials Notice of Race.

Transport

During the event, a shuttle bus will be available from and to the international airports of Verona and Bergamo, to pick up the teams and to facilitate the journey back home.

A group of a will be constantly available at the Bergamo or Verona airport to welcome the teams, direct them to transport and help with any problems that may arise.

A brochure with relevant information about Desenzano, the regatta and the general organisation of the event will be offered to each sailor to provide information about the race, the accommodation, the facilities and the possibilities.
